Premier Courts and Professional Programs

Your Club membership gives you access to eight pickleball courts, three World Class Surface hard courts and five clay Hydro Courts, which are brilliantly lit to provide lighting for any level of recreational or competitive play. Spectators will enjoy our spacious viewing areas, including a relaxing viewing patio, special seating, and viewing decks. The Tennis Center Pro Shop is also open for our members’ convenience and is outfitted with top-of-the-line tennis apparel and world-class equipment.

The RSPA (USPTA), PTR and PPR professionals offer a wide variety of programming for children and adults. Lessons, clinics, leagues, and socials are just a few of the events you will find at the tennis center. Court reservations are complimentary with membership and may be booked up to four days in advance through our Racquets app or the Pro Shop.

Pro Shops

Purchase the equipment you need to enhance your play. The Club at the Township Tennis Pro Shop offers the latest in gear, clothing, and accessories, including racquets, and stringing by the one and only active Master Racquet Technician in the state of Mississippi.

Pickleball

Our courts are designed to foster both competitive and recreational play, ensuring everyone from beginners to seasoned pros can enjoy the fast-paced excitement of pickleball. With equipment available for rent or purchase at the Pro Shop, getting into the game has never been easier.

Tennis & Pickleball Facility Policies

Industry-Standard Policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Courts can be reserved by Club members only.

One court per reservation for 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes. Reservations that exceed 120 minutes will be cancelled. Please do not reserve any longer than you need.

Use “The Club Racquets” app to reserve. Questions: call the Pro Shop (601) 856-0220.

Maximum of 4 days ahead. New policy: can reserve at 7am any time 4 days ahead.

If court cannot be used, cancellation should be made on the app or by contacting Pro Shop as soon as possible.

Dress Code

  • Appropriate tennis or pickleball attire

  • Shirts and non-marking court-specific shoes

Court Etiquette

  • Players must show respect for fellow players

  • Must maintain a reasonable noise level

  • No offensive language or behavior

Players should warm up properly before playing to prevent injuries and must follow any safety instructions or warnings provided by facility staff. Spectators are responsible for their own safety and should not access the playing areas.

All players must comply with the facility’s overall rules and regulations, in addition to the specific policies related to tennis and pickleball. Failure to comply with the rules may result in suspension of court privileges or termination of membership.

Members are welcome to bring guests for social play (for both tennis and pickleball). A guest may play up to 2 times per month. Thereafter they must become a member or wait until the following month. One exception is for those who live 20+ miles (by car) away, who may play 4 times per month, but with an additional guest fee the 3rd and 4th time they play.

Guests may also do lessons, clinics and events.

Guests must check in at the Pro Shop, provide contact info (name, phone number and email address) and sign a liability waiver.

Information, news and upcoming events are communicated by email occasionally, but mainly through the GroupMe app. The Pro Shop staff are happy to assist you to join these groups, and links for GroupMe can be shared via email as well.

Private & group lessons can be scheduled with any of our tennis or pickleball coaches through contacting them or directly through The Club Racquets app (see “court reservations” above). Our coaches are certified through USPTA, PTR and/or PPR. They are welcoming, professional and they pursue excellence by continuing to learn the most modern, advanced methods to teach these ever-evolving sports.

If a player must cancel a lesson, we ask that they do so as soon as possible, ideally at least the week before. There is no cancellation fee except in the case of a same day cancellation or no-show, in which case the cancellation fee is half of the lesson fee.

Payment for lessons is made through “The Club Racquets” app. Please make sure you have a credit card loaded onto the app.

We offer adult and junior clinics for all levels and ages, in which players will hit a lot of balls, learn technique and strategy, get a good workout, and have a great time. Some clinics are open and don’t require sign-up and some are opt-in for 6 weeks or other. Open clinics are published on theclubms.com and paper copies of the schedules are available in the Pro Shop.

Our social events are community favorites! Sign-up may be individual or with a partner (we’re happy to help with pairings).

Event formats include:

  • Team-based play

  • Champs-and-challengers (win and move up, lose and move down)

  • Open play

  • Events are listed on theclubms.com, and printed schedules are available in the Pro Shop.

There are two tennis ball machines and two pickleball ball machines, which can be rented by members only at $15/hr. or unlimited $150/year (individual) and $200/year (family). To reserve a ball machine, please use the Racquets app or call the Pro Shop (601) 856-0220.

USTA, JLTA and pickleball league teams may be based out of The Club if the captain is a Club member and there are no more than 4 guests on the team for 4 or 5 court league formats, or 2 guests for 2 or 3 court formats. Guests may only play two seasons of league on Club teams before having to join The Club, unless they live 20+ miles (by car) away, in which case they can play on a continuous basis.

When a Club-based team plays at The Club, all guests on their team and all guests on the opposing team must pay a $4 guest fee.

If a Club member on a non-Club-based team wants to reserve a Club court for a league match, they may do so, but must adhere to the regular court reservation policies, and any guests that play in the match must pay a $10 guest fee and this will count towards their two time per month (or four for out-of-town guests) limit.

Our Pro Shop offers a variety of racquets, paddles, string, accessories and apparel. Additionally, we have one of the only Master Racquet Technicians in the area who can offer expert advice and custom service for your racquets and strings.
